Is a loved one hiding a relationship from you with a little help from smartphone technology? It is not that surprising in the modern age of smartphones that people can keep their texts and calls hidden from you.

Cheating Apps to Look for on Their Phone

Besides potential apps that conceal texts, there are some apps you should be on the lookout for. If these apps come up on pay statements or you see them on your partner's phone, it is a huge red flag that they are cheating or thinking about cheating on you.

Cheating Apps

Any dating app (Tinder, Grindr, etc): This one is pretty obvious, if you see them using a dating app or they have one on their phone (and you've been together for a while) that is a strong indication that they are still playing the field. This is even more true if they have an app for a cheating site like Ashley Madison, which is a dating site for married people who want to cheat.
Secret messaging apps (Viber, Vaulty Stocks, Private Message Box, etc): This will be a bit harder to sniff out as these apps can be used for other things besides cheaters. However, these apps allow for secret communication with other people, with photos and texts being hidden or destroyed after a certain amount of time.
Fake and anonymous social media accounts: You can bet that your partner is up to something questionable if they have burner social media accounts. It could mean they are trolling people online but it's also possible that they have been privately messaging other people for illicit reasons. This will be a hard thing to uncover unless you go on their phone and look at their social media apps. When logged into the app you will be able to toggle in between different social media profiles.
Snapchat: Yes, I know this might be a strange one to single out but based on the nature of the app (photos quickly disappear) and its popularity, it is an easy place for cheaters to go. Be sure to look at who your partner is messaging on the app.

Signs Your Spouse Might Be Cheating on You

You could go into some other signs that your spouse might be hiding texts/pics (hiding screen, creating or changing passwords, not letting SO look through phone, disabling notifications where they had them pop up on their lock screen before)

Here are some additional signs to look for if you suspect your SO is cheating on you. Keep in mind that you have to examine the context of each of these. If many of these signs are all popping up at once, it could mean that they are cheating on you, but you will need some more substantial proof than just one or two of these signs.

Improved appearance: If they suddenly start dressing better, working out, and losing weight, that could be a sign that they are seeing other people. This is particularly true if they decided to do it on their own without your involvement. While it might appear to be good that your significant other is working on improving themselves, it can mean they are secretly seeing someone and want to impress them.
Significant changes in sex in your relationship: If your sexual relationship has suddenly stopped or has suddenly increased, that could be a clue that they have been fooling around with other people. They are trying to cover up for their promiscuity so they are having more or less sex with you. Additionally, if they are introducing new activities and techniques into your sex life, it's possible they picked it up from someone else.
An altered schedule and more time spent out of the house: A sudden change in the amount of time away from you, without some credible excuse, could be a sign they are seeing someone else. This could mean an altered schedule or just many more nights spent out away from you. This can be especially true if the two of you did a lot of activities together and they suddenly stopped doing them with you.
Weird bills on credit card and bank statements: Many of these apps will have weird names on billing statements, so if you are noticing that your SO is spending a lot more money than normal, and a bunch of random bills are coming in, that could be an indication they are up to something. Be sure to cross-reference the names on the internet to find out if they are cover for something more nefarious.
Pulling away and lack of emotional intimacy: A sudden change in emotional intimacy is a big warning sign not only that they could be cheating on you, but that your relationship is in trouble. While it's natural for some intimacy to wane the longer you are together, an abrupt pullback is concerning.

Be aware of their texting habits and if they have suddenly changed. If they are spending a lot more time on their phone sending texts and not explaining why or who they're texting, they could be up to something.

How to Find Hidden Text Messages

Finding out what secret stuff they have been up to is not going to be easy. In many instances, I advise against it unless you feel very certain they are up to something. Invading someone's privacy is a big breach of trust and it can permanently damage your relationship.

If you want to go ahead and find these hidden text messages and photos, you're going to have to go digging through their phone, which would require you to know their passcode. Even if you are able to get into the phone and start snooping around, so many of these apps delete their messages after a certain timeframe so it would be hard to uncover something unless it's totally obvious. Try looking in their messaging apps and other folders to see if anything comes up.

Other Ways to Catch Cheaters

You have two other major options for catching a cheater, and this will depend on whether or not the two of you share bank accounts and bills. If you do not, it will be much more complicated to figure this out.

Look at their phone bill: if you are seeing a bunch of repeated calls to a certain number on the phone bill, that could be a big clue as to your partner's infidelity. Be sure to calmly ask your SO who they have been calling so much and why.
Look at their bank transactions: If you look at your credit card and bank statements, you might notice some strange transactions for large amounts of money. This could mean they are on a cheating dating website like Ashley Madison or they are paying for things like onlyfans.

My Experience With Cheating Apps

In the past, I noticed a group of apps designed to conceal text messages and phone calls received from specific people. The ones that struck me the most were Second Phone Apps' series of Hide My Calls and Hide My Text apps for Android devices. I have yet to find any similar apps for iOS but bear in mind that you can easily hide your text and call notifications on an iPhone.

Second Phone Apps offers a series of Android apps for concealing calls and text messages from designated contacts.

When you install one of these apps, you choose the contacts whose texts and calls you wish to hide. Once you put these contacts into the app, their calls or texts won't trigger the same alerts that you get for other contacts. Instead, you might get a pop-up saying "software update available," or your phone might merely vibrate, or you won't get any alert at all (so you'll have to proactively check the app).

During setup, you choose the contacts whose calls and texts you want the app to conceal. You can also choose how the app should notify you of calls or texts from these contacts.

Decoys to Conceal the Concealer App

What's really insidious about these apps is how difficult it is to detect them if you don't know about them. To read the messages or look at the phone calls from these designated contacts, the user launches the app from an innocuous-looking icon (the so-called decoy app), and must then enter a password.

Second Phone Apps' various versions of Hide My Text or Hide My Calls append to the app's name a description of the icon: In addition to the baseball icon in these screenshots, you can find one with a purse (for a decoy app called Shopper), for example. There's even a version that has no icon: Hide My Text-Invisible launches from a button that only appears when you tap an area of a black screen.

If anyone else clicks on the app and doesn't know where to enter the password, they'll see a message about a system error, or perhaps an expired subscription.

An incorrect login to the decoy Baseball app produces a message about an expired subscription.

Most Hide My Text apps are available in both paid and free versions. The free ones let you hide texts and calls for up to five contacts; the paid ones set no limits on the number of contacts whose texts and calls you can conceal.

I just want also tell my story. So you all won't mistake this scam for a hacker. Seriously guys, y'all need to be careful with who you hire. I reached out to Hunterspy107 GMAILCOM and told him i need to remotely gain access to my ex husband's device. He collected payment for days now and didnt deliver. He also stopped responding to my emails. I have left him for my maker and he will get what's coming to him. All he wants is your money as he doesn't care what you're going through. Be careful out there guys
